Dai (Tai) ethnic minority textiles and costume
Tai groups are found throughout southeast Asia, including Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Burma and Yunnan province. They are known especially for their supplementary weft textiles incorporating silk and cotton. There are several Tai/Dai subgroups in China, though their distinctive textiles have not been well researched to date.
